I'm about to go to PP on Monday to get an implanon removed. Do you think they'll let me take pics to put on the blog? I don't think so, but I'll ask. That would be a sweet post.
(Before anyone gets too excited there, the implanon goes in your arm. woo-woo)

Oh my gosh. PLEASE ask. I wonder if you need to tell them you'd be blog-posting them? That might make them wary... but then is it bad if you don't tell them, then post them? Am I a bad person that I think you shouldn't tell them?

See, I was thinking they might feel better if I said I was a dork scientist that thought outpatient surgery was good blog fodder. As opposed to, I want to take pictures and show them to my lawyer so I can sue you if you do any little thing wrong. Which is not my plan. But if I were a doctor, that's what I'd be thinking. I bet they won't let me, but I'll ask.
I better wear some nice handknit items, just in case they let me and then my blog becomes famous from all the googling implanon patients. You have to look your best in those situations.
Good point about the "it's for science, not lawyering" angle.
And I really agree.
One should always look one's best when a camera is involved.
